High Five TGIF 5 Things Friday!

Hooray! It's Friday again! Here's your high five!

I am especially excited about Friday this week. I'm a bit tired from the day-to-day.

I'm doing the usual Fitness Friday hops, so I hope you'll join us! If you're new, WELCOME! If you're not new, WELCOME (again). I love followers... hoping to hit 200 today (tell your friends, wink, wink...)

So, let's do some listing. Today, instead of me asking you 5 questions, let's list 5 things that are awesome about our lives. Right now. And go...

1. I have amazing, cute, healthy, wonderful children. Yes, my daughter meows, and my son is insane, but they are perfect. (Oh, and I recently started a Twitter for my son, just so I can keep track of the hilarious things he says.)

2. I have a steady job AND a pretty cool extra, fun job (that doesn't feel like work). I am thankful for the regular income, health insurance, and stability that comes from the regular (Librarian) job, and the friends, motivation, personal growth and paychecks that come from the extra, fun job.

3. I am 5 pounds away from my goal/pre-pregnancy weight (and my daughter isn't even a year old yet).

4. I have recently started running really fast (for me). I used to strive to hit a 10:00 mile. Wednesday, I ran 3 miles at an average pace of 9:20 (and that included 2 walk breaks).

5. Starbucks VIA. Yes, I am thankful for a beverage. Seriously, I don't work for Starbucks or sell their stuff, but VIA really is the best instant coffee I've ever had, and it's made my life so much easier.

So, let's hear 5 awesome things about your life today!

Congratulations on being so close to your goal weight. That is really neat.

I don't do Starbucks frequently, but I treated myself to one of their Refreshers yesterday. Yum! I'd like to go back for another tomorrow. I had the Very Berry Hibiscus. I could go broke and get fat if this summer doesn't end soon! LOL

5 things that are awesome...

Celebrating my 18th wedding anniversary this weekend.
Running. Not letting the heat discourage me again this year.
I bought new pajamas today.
I have cross trained consistently for about 9 months :)
My kids are my biggest running fans!

hmmm...5 things:

1)I'm starting to feel a little better after my tonsillectomy....I see the light..Yay!
2)I have 4 healthy and amazing children.
3)My husband rocks...not only does he get up at 4:30 am and go to work, but he has taken care of me, the house, the kids while I have been laid up. CAn you say Laundry...woot, woot, he's better at it than I am.
4)It's stinking HOT here! 110 or so, BUT, it keeps my kids entertained with water fights, running through the sprinkler & I'm glad to have them drained in the afternoon :)
5) Tomorrow is my Birthday!!

My crazy kids make me happy :-)
Loving my dogs and the fact that Billy' eye has nearly healed
Business is looking up
I have rested the whole week and am starting to feel better
Carrots, potatoes and courgettes from my garden are, well, AWESOME ;-)

9:20 is very fast to a slow runner like me. :)

1. I'm on vacation and do not have to be back to work until Tuesday.

2. I got to run by the ocean today.

3. Love my husband who really worked hard to plan a nice vacation.

4. Was able to move from one office, which I hated, to a new office which I love recently.

5. I feel more relaxed right now than I have in years.

That is so cool about being so close to your pre baby weight. I won't even say how long it took when I was at that point!!

And, 5 things...

1. Last Friday off for a while. School is starting up again soon, and my job too.
2. I'm feeling really lazy today.
3. I am thinking of making a cake today instead of running. I should run and THEN make the cake.
4. My kids are awesome. They drive me nuts, but I love them bunches.
5. I'm almost cleaned up from vacation. Yay. It's taken days!

Great job losing the baby weight you and getting FAST! What is your fun job? 5 things hmm
1. My kids are the best. I love their hugs.
2. The air this morning smelled so sweet, fresh cut hay, ripening wheat, yellow sweetclover. Wish I could bottle it up.
3. I have three kittens that are beyond cute when they hiss at the dog.
4. I missed out on the blog hops yesterday because I had to work, boo
5. New sunglasses YAY!

I am late hopping this week, but am so glad I landed *here*.

I needed this.

1. My family is healthy and safe. My kids and their friends are touched but not suffering a direct loss today.
2. I have a good job that allows me to be creative and push boundaries.
3. I have free time to push other boundaries.
4. I am healthy enough to have worn out a pair of running shoes this week.
5. My dog is snoring softly at my feet.

I was just going to read this and move on to your next older post and then thought, when I'm feeling crappy, I should think about what is awesome in my life. Here goes:

1. My daughter. She's the best and I have so much fun with her. I think she's going to take me to see the last Harry Potter movie today. It's exciting for her so I go.

2. My boyfriend. We've been together for nearly 12 years and I can't imagine life without him, although he's 3,500 miles away, I try not to dwell on that part.

3. I have a job that I love.

4. My friends and family are relatively happy and healthy.

5. I have a roof over my head, and food to eat. It's not a fancy roof, and I am not able to spend much on groceries but we have what we need to survive and function.
